Who we are

Hermod Homes is a Massachusetts real estate investment company and direct home buyer operating in Massachusetts. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to evaluate a property and respond to you. When you submit a form on this site, we collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• The property address you are asking about
• Optionally, your situation (for example “inherited property”) and any notes you choose to write

That is the complete list. We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, date of birth, bank or card details, income, or any government identification through this website. Please do not send those to us through the forms on this site.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not run behavioral advertising.

Cookies, analytics, and tracking

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and loads no tracking pixels or third-party advertising scripts. Our fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third party. Because of this, there is nothing to consent to and no tracking to opt out of. See our Cookie Policy for detail.

How we use your information

We use what you give us to prepare and discuss an offer on your property, to answer your questions, and to keep records of our communications. If you are a real estate agent contacting us about a client, we use your details to follow up on that specific opportunity.

Contact by phone, text, and email

When you submit a form you are asking us to contact you, and you are giving us permission to reach you at the phone number and email address you provided, including by text message, about your property. Message and data rates may apply. This permission is not a condition of any purchase or sale. You can withdraw it at any time by replying “STOP” to a text, by telling us on a call, or by emailing nathan@hermodhomes.com. We do not use automatic telephone dialing systems or prerecorded messages, and we do not send marketing text blasts.

Who we share it with

We share your information only where it is necessary to do the thing you asked us to do:

• Our form provider. Submissions on this site are delivered to our inbox through Web3Forms, which processes the message in order to transmit it. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policy.
• Our email provider. Your message arrives in and is stored in our business email account.
• Transaction professionals. If you move forward with a sale, we may share what is needed with the closing attorney, title company, inspector, or lender involved in that transaction.
• When legally required. If we are compelled by law, subpoena, or court order.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back to us, and longer where a completed transaction requires it for tax, title, or legal recordkeeping. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.

How we protect it

Our site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections. Access to your information is limited to the people at Hermod Homes who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of what we hold.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Email nathan@hermodhomes.com and we will handle the request. We will not treat you differently for making one. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state or national law, and we will honor those where they apply to us.

Children

This site is meant for adults who own or represent property. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date above.
